Line cooks will ideally be familiar with all stations in the kitchen, including but not limited to, sauté, fry, pantry, grill, etc. Communication and time-management skills are vital, as is any previous experience handling and preparing food according to sanitation and food safety standards, established by the state and Federal governments. Previous experience executing recipe standards is also ideal. Our culinary teams are committed to providing a high level of execution that will WOW our guests with every single meal!

  • Preparation, execution, and service of the restaurants daily menus and recipes
  • Coordination of specialized menu selections or offerings in conjunction with General Manager
  • Maintain adept knowledge of menu descriptions, execution standards, and presentations
  • Assure that all food procedures and polices are followed per Homegrown Hospitality Group and The Department of Health
  • Coordinate food preparation and service with other departments as necessary through effective communication and preparation
  • Assist with the purchasing and inventory of the food inventory, as necessary
  • Follow all sanitation and cleanliness guideline
  •  Adapt and develop skills based on new menu selections, guest requests, and current culinary trends

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
  • Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
  • Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
  • Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time; must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and stand, twist and move within confined spaces
